Wilhelmshaven Harbour Festival or Wochenende an der Jade (Weekend at the Jade)
|
This traditional festival takes part each first weekend in july around the main harbour basin of Wilhelmshaven. A partner organisation (DLRG) provides the water rescue in this area. The THW cares for the water rescue in the navy shipyard where navy ships are presented. For assistance of our local boat squad collegues from other sections participate in this duty. A search and rescue squad is in permanent stand by. The organisation of this mission is shared by our local platoon leader and squad leaders assisted by a command team. |
