Our Chad team created this abbreviation following the existing THW-unit SEEBA which means „Schnell EinsatzEinheit Bergung Ausland (Rapid Deployment Unit Search and Rescue Overseas) because the construction progress of the second camp overwhelmed everybody involved. Well, I have to admit that we had no choice: the rain season was close and this meant nearly no access by vehicles. So we had to finish the camp site as soon as possible for giving the WFP enaugh time to fill the rub halls with food for supplying the camp habitants over the rain season.

SSEEFA stands for „SuperSchnell EinsatzEinheit Flüchtlingslagerbau Ausland (SuperFast Unit Refugee Camp Construction Overseas).
Smaller setbacks at the beginning of our mission soon created our motto TVB Tout va bien! This French expression stands for everything is fine or becoming fine. The likeness to THW for our agency soon transformed TVB into a synonym for our THW-team who accomplished the refugee camp construction in shortest time of 11 effective working days in field due to often interruptions for discussions of claim for land possession. We solved all this with our motto and lots of sense of humour (quite black humour sometimes).
